"A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation. These gatherings often consciously followed Horace's definition of the aims of poetry, "either to please or to educate" (Latin: aut delectare aut prodesse)..."
Compassion 2.0 is a learning community of participants interested in exploring and implementing compassion-informed policies, procedures and practices in the places we live and work.
The salons are an extension of conversations from our podcast guests, and will be focused on the interactive and shared learning of the participants. Guest speakers will provide a short discussion around the topic of conversation, and participants will be broken into small groups to explore the topic, reporting back to the larger group with their discoveries. Work done will be memorialized for reference.

Shelly was our first Thought Leader host for our first Salon.
She explored the practical ways in which we can bring compassion actions to our communities in this time of COVID.
We had a great session with Shelly and want to thank her again for doing this with us, and most importantly, for the amazing work she does for those that are in great need. She is truly an agent for goodness and wellbeing.
